Rick Schuster

Rick Schuster is the Quality Improvement Training Coordinator for the Santa Rosa County Emergency Management Communications Center.    Rick started his 9-1-1 EMS & Fire Dispatching career in April of 1984 at the Escambia County Emergency Communications 9-1-1 Center.   In January of 2000 Rick was hired by Santa Rosa County to his current job position.   In February of 2000 Rick received APCO CTO (Certified Training Officer) certification.   In May of 2000 Rick introduced the official 9-1-1 mascot Ready Emergency Fox (Red E Fox) to the citizens of Santa Rosa County.   

In August of 2000 Rick received certifications through Dr. Clawson’s Emergency Medical Priority Dispatching ED-Q and AQUA.   ED-Q is the National Academy’s Quality Improvement Program that is essential in maintaining established standards for the 9-1-1 call-takers.    In August of 2003 Rick was an integral part in establishing the CPR in the schools program for all seventh graders.   Which is still current today.

Chris Hall

Chris Hall

Chris started in emergency services in 1990 as a Campus Public Safety Officer for the University of South Carolina at Aiken after which he joined the US Coast Guard and served for 6 years. He became involved in the fire service in 1996 and has served as a volunteer in the Pocomoke Maryland Fire Department, Skyline Fire Rescue district, and most recently as a captain in the Munson Fire Dept. In 1998, He became involved in EMS and volunteered with Pocomoke, MD EMS. Later he was employed as an EMT by Rural Metro in Santa Rosa county and still work part time for Lifeguard Ambulance. He came to work for Santa Rosa EMC in August 2006. Chris holds certifications as EMD, EFD, EMT, Hazmat awareness, Firefighter 1 in Maryland and Florida, EVOC, and emergency vehicle driver trainer. Professional and social organizations to which he belongs are NAED, APCO, NAEMT,  FAPEP, and Parrotheads of Pensacola. In his spare time he enjoys outdoor activities, sports, reading, cooking, traveling, and photography.

 

Kevin Sowell

Kevin Sowell

Kevin was born in Milton and graduated from Pace High School in 1986. He attended Pensacola Junior College. Kevin is the Mayor of Mulat, Florida and his hobbies include hunting, fishing and being with friends.


Jennifer Liveoak

Jennifer Liveoak

Jennifer graduated from Pace High School in 2002. She graduated with a Associates Degree in Medical Assisting Work PRN at a pediatricians office in Pace, Florida and graduated medical school with a 4.0. She was on the Dean's List twice and the President's List twice. She was a volunteer firefighter for six months and is a first responder, CPR/First Aid Certified.

Tom Lloyd

Tom Lloyd

Tom is orginally from New Hampshire and served eight years in the Navy prior to becoming a 911 Operator. He was stationed in San Diego on the Carrier USS Constellation CV-64 for four years. He transferred to NAS Whiting Field and worked as an emergency operator for four years. He is a local firefighter for Pace Fire Rescue and enjoys helping the citizens of Santa Rosa County in their time of need.


Doug Gillis

Colin Douglas Gillis, Jr.

Doug was born in Milton and graduated Milton High School in 1981. He attended Lake City Community College 1981 - 1984 majoring in Urban Forestry. He is a volunteer for the Point Baker Water System, Board of Directors, President. He is a member of the Jay Masonic Lodge 176 and enjoys hunting, fishing and bike riding.
