Informing, enriching, inspiring.

Friends of the Library

Each community library has a "Friends of the Library" organization that supports their local library by advocating for library services, increased funding, and improved and expanded facilities. They serve as library volunteers and operate book sales and other fund-raising events to assist libraries with special projects beyond the scope of the county budget. If you would like to join a Friends group, contacts are listed here.

If you love libraries and aren't part of your local library's Friends group, please consider joining. These invaluable volunteer groups raise money and increase public awareness about their library. The money raised by Friends groups support such important library services as summer reading programs for children, special events, library collections, and new technologies. We appreciate Santa Rosa County for providing us with an outstanding library system that serves the entire county with excellent resources and customer service!
