New Business - Reinstatement of License
Robert G Pettry d/b/a Pettry Plumbing and Gas
Mrs. Royals gave a brief history of Mr. Pettry’s case; his license was suspended due to non-payment (no renewal) on October 1998. He is seeking Board approval for license reinstatement. Mr. Pettry provided City of Pensacola permit records, proving active contracting from 1999-2006.
Mr. Pettry spoke to the Board. He stated that his license lapsed because he wasn’t working in Santa Rosa County, only in Escambia and he couldn’t afford to keep both active.
After several questions were asked by the Board, Mr. Osborne made a motion to reinstate upon proof of no outstanding complaints in neighboring jurisdictions and payment of all back fees. Mr. Schwencke seconded the motion and with no further discussion the motion passed with a unanimous vote.
Mrs. Royals readdressed the Board regarding future license reinstatements. She stated that if they didn’t wish to meet for a license reinstatement, they can grant authority to her and Tim Tolbert.
Jim Osborne made a motion to keep the reinstatements within the Board’s authority. Mr Schwencke seconded the motion. With no further discussion the motion passed unanimously.
Mr. Osborne made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Mr. Schwencke seconded the motion. The motion carried with a unanimous vote.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:13 p.m.
