Animal Services always appreciates donations from the public and the continued support of Santa Rosa County citizens as invaluable. Your donation will not only help the lives of the animals we currently have in the shelter but also the lives of the animals we save in the future.

Wish List

These are some of the daily needs necessary to give our homeless animals the love & care they deserve. Items can either be purchased from our Amazon Wish List and shipped directly to the shelter or you can Shop n' Drop it off at our front door! Financial donations in the form of checks should be made out to the "Board of County Commissioners" and are tax-deductible.

Continuous Needs

  • Unopened Pedigree Dog Food (dry/canned Adult)
  • Unopened Purina Cat Chow Cat Food(dry, canned, kitten, & adult)
    • Keeping to one brand of food for our animals keeps their tummy's happy & healthy!
  • Cat Litter (Non Clumping)
  • Dog/Cat Enrichment Toys
  • Capsule-Size Pill Pockets
  • Digital Scales
  • Cooling/Heating pads for Dogs

Gently Used

  • Towels
  • Dog/Cat Beds
  • Blankets
  • Collars, Leashes, Harnesses
  • Dog Toys (tennis balls/Kongs)

Kitten Season is coming and we need some Kitten Care Kits! 



For the safety & health of our animals, we cannot accept:

  • Opened Bags of Food
  • Knitted Blankets
  • Cat Trees
  • Used cat litter bins
  • Plastic Pet Bowls
