Volunteer Opportunity on Navarre Beach

Shoreline Users Resource Force (S.U.R.F.) volunteers will be stationed on Navarre Beach to provide information to beach visitors on:

  • Beach and water safety
  • Beach conditions
  • Clean-up response
  • Coastal habitats
  • Heat safety
  • Hurricanes
  • Navarre Beach "leave no trace" ordinance wildlife
  • Seafood safety
  • Wildlife

Volunteer Shifts

Teams of volunteers will work 3 hour shifts on the beach answering questions from tourists and locals:

  • 9 a.m. - Noon
  • Noon - 3 p.m.
  • 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Stations

Teams will be stationed at county access points, including the park and near the pier.
