Library Book Clubs
Some of our clubs will be meeting exclusively via Zoom, while others will offer a hybrid option (meet in person if you are comfortable doing so). Tweens and teens must have a signed Zoom Parental Consent Form turned in to their library to participate in virtual clubs. All clubs require registration; call 981-READ (7323) to sign up with a staff member.
Coffee Talk
Coffee Talk, a non-fiction book club, meets at noon on the second Tuesday of every other month beginning in January for a brown bag lunch and book discussion. Please join us in our exploration into art, economics, culture, politics, history, biographies, science, philosophy, and other topics. You’ll enjoy the lively discussions and friendly atmosphere. Selections are made by participants, so there’s sure to be something that interests you!
Page Turners
Page Turners, a fiction book club, meets at 1 p.m. on the second Friday of every other month beginning in February for a brown bag lunch and book discussion. Get ready for great reading adventures!
Book Clubs at Jay are not currently meeting.
Please contact the Jay library if you are interested in participating in a book club at that library. Watch this page for updates as they become available.
The Inklings
Sixth through 10th graders are invited to weigh in and share their ideas about the book of the month. The Inklings Book Club meets the second Monday of the month at 4 p.m.
The Illustriates Book Club
Teens and tweens can join fellow book enthusiasts on the first Wednesday each month to discuss the book of the month. We will read a variety of genres including novels and graphic novels.
Book Chat
One of the next best things to reading a good book is chatting about it. Share your enthusiasm and join the conversation on the first Wednesday of each month at 4 p.m.
