Library Book Clubs
Clubs are going virtual this fall! Tweens and teens must have a signed Zoom Parental Consent Form turned in to their library to participate in virtual clubs. All clubs require registration; call 981-READ (7323) to sign up with a staff member.
Coffee Talk
Coffee Talk, a non-fiction book club, meets at noon on the second Tuesday of every other month beginning in January for a brown bag lunch and book discussion. Please join us in our exploration into art, economics, culture, politics, history, biographies, science, philosophy, and other topics. You’ll enjoy the lively discussions and friendly atmosphere. Selections are made by participants, so there’s sure to be something that interests you!
Page Turners
Page Turners, a fiction book club, meets at 1 p.m. on the second Friday of every other month beginning in February for a brown bag lunch and book discussion. Get ready for great reading adventures!
The Club for Not Nearly Nice Books (CN3B)
The CN3B is a book club for adults who enjoy horror, fantasy, and science fiction. The CN3B meets from 4 - 5 p.m. on the 2nd Monday of every other month beginning in March via ZOOM. Registration is required. Speak with a staff member to sign up.
The Other Book Club (OBC)
The OBC is a book club for adults who enjoy the other genres not covered by the CN3B, including mystery, thriller, and historical. The OBC meets from 4 - 5 p.m. on the 2nd Monday of every other month beginning in April via ZOOM. Registration is required. Speak with a staff member to sign up.
Graphic Novel Book Club
Join fellow graphic novel enthusiasts on the fourth Monday each month at 4 p.m. to discuss the book of the month. This club will be enjoyed by the new and seasoned teen graphic novel readers. Members can suggest reading ideas, interests, and discuss the world of the graphic novel.
The Inklings
Sixth through 10th graders are invited to weigh in and share their ideas about the book of the month. The Inklings Book Club meets the second Monday of the month at 4 p.m.
Reading Fanatics
Meetings are on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 5p.m. Come tell us what you’d like to read – fiction and non-fiction titles are welcome!
The Illustriates Book Club
Teens and tweens can join fellow book enthusiasts on the first Wednesday each month to discuss the book of the month. We will read a variety of genres including novels and graphic novels.
