Additional Services

Blackwater Soil and Water Conservation District will provide conservation technical assistance, unaffiliated with any Farm Bill program, to those living in Santa Rosa County. The District will assist these individuals with any resource concerns they may have on their lands. District staff will provide available resources and technical expertise regarding concerns with conservation planning, resource management, erosion issues, water flow problems, etc… The goal being to develop local solutions in order to advance healthy local resources.

Blackwater SWCD also participates every year in a variety of community functions and civic activities; to have the opportunity to meet with the general public and inform them about potential services. To improve this communication the District works with a number of community organizations/groups looking for opportunities to help people. The District does its best to maintain an active public information program as part of its efforts to increase awareness and diversify participation in our conservation programs and other services within the community.
