Local Poster Contest

Poster Collaboration Photo

The National Association of Conservation Districts annual poster contest begins each year at the local conservation district level. Blackwater Soil and Water Conservation District carries out this first level of the competition in the early months of each year. District staff members carefully judge submitted posters on criteria such as conservation message, visual effectiveness, originality, and universal appeal. First place winners of each age category or qualified to advance up to the next level of the competition, the state contest. First place winners there can then advance on to the national contest.
