Imagine Your Story (Summer Reading 2020 Theme)

Summer reading is now over!

Please visit your library for curbside pick up of your participation prizes.
Winners of the eReaders for the Teen and Adult programs will be notified by August 14.



  1. Kids (ages 11 & under)
  2. Teens (ages 12- 18)
  3. Adults (ages 19 & up)

Who can participate: Santa Rosa County Library cardholders in good standing who are 11 and under can participate in the Kids Summer Reading program. If you live in Santa Rosa County and do not have a library card, ask your parent/guardian to call 981-READ (7323) for information on how to get a temporary eCard .

How to participate:

  1. Register for the Kids program here to participate online, or print a paper reading log.
  2. We encourage you to read at least 15 minutes a day. Log the number of minutes you read each day in Wandoo Reader or on your paper reading log.
  3. Complete as many of the weekly challenges as you can.
  4. Read, participate, and enjoy!
  5. Submit your challenges via Wandoo Reader, or return your completed reading log to your library by close of business on Friday, July 31.

Prizes: Participants will receive a reading medal and age-appropriate book, while supplies last. For patrons participating online, prizes may be picked up at your library during the first 2 weeks of August. If you do not participate online, you will receive your prizes when you turn in your reading log at your library. Thank you to the Friends of the Library groups for sponsoring these prizes.
