Aid and Attendance for Veterans

VA Aid and Attendance or housebound benefits provide additional monthly payments added to the amount of a monthly VA pension for qualified veterans.  Click here for Veteran’s Pension.

A form of aid and attendance or housebound income is also available with Service-Connected Compensation (SMC).

At the bottom of this page is a link to make an appointment with one of our Veterans Services officers. But before you make an appointment here’s what you will need to bring with you:

  • DD 214 (All of them or Discharge Certificate) showing you served during one of the approved wartimes

Copies of your DD 214 and STRs/SMRs can be requested online here:  https://www.archives.gov/veterans/military-service-records
