UF/IFAS Extension Santa Rosa County to hold "Go Native!" tree sale

Purchase and learn about native trees Feb. 9 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at UF/IFAS Extension Santa Rosa County Office, 6263 Dogwood Dr. in Milton. Fourteen species of native trees will be available for purchase from $8 to $12 each.
 
The event will feature educational exhibits and displays on the value of native plant species in home landscapes and how to bring nature to the yard. Proper tree planting and pruning techniques will be demonstrated. Learn how to add natural beauty to the landscape with less maintenance, water, and fertilizer, while also helping to provide wildlife habitat and a healthier environment for birds, pollinators and other wildlife species.
