[ARCHIVED] Navarre Beach ambassador training

Navarre Beach Ambassador Training

Santa Rosa County's UF/IFAS Extension Office along with the county's Tourist Development Offices are hosting its second year of the Navarre Beach Ambassadors, in which volunteers will learn more about beach safety, wildlife and habitats. The offices are seeking new volunteers who are interested in interacting with the local and visitor communities.

"This is a fun opportunity to get out on the beach and help others learn about the environment and beach safety," said Chris Verlinde, Santa Rosa County Sea Grant extension agent.

Interested individuals are invited to the introductory training session on Mon., June 17, 10 a.m. at the Navarre Beach Visitor's Center, 8543 Navarre Pkwy. in Navarre.
