East and South Spencer Field Road at Carlyn Drive intersection road closures

As part of the East/South Spencer Field Road and Carlyn Drive intersection improvements, there will be periodic temporary lane closures and detours Oct. 12-15. These temporary delays are to allow for the preliminary signalization work, paving and pavement striping activities to occur within the intersection and on the project site. Flaggers will assist motorists with directing traffic during the periodic lane closures and signage will be up directing motorists to temporary detours. The public should remain alert as trucks enter and exit the work zone. 

• Oct. 12-13, 7a.m. to 5 p.m. - Temporary periodic lane closures along East Spencer Road. Flaggers will be present to direct traffic.

• Oct. 14-15, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Temporary detours around the East Spencer Road/South Spencer Road/Carlyn Drive intersection. 

  •  E. Spencer Field Road – closed to through traffic (local traffic only) from north of Oak Orchard Circle to south of Wild Orchid Court: 

    • Flaggers will in-place to allow access to local residents in this area. 

    • Detour access to through traffic from Hwy. 90 via Santa Rosa Drive will be to White Road then W. Spencer Field Road. 

    • Detour access to through traffic from Hwy. 90 via Dean Drive will be to White Road then W. Spencer Field Road. 

    • Direct access to through traffic around this closure will be via W. Spencer Field Road to N. Spencer Field Road. 

    • Direct access to through traffic around this closure via Hamilton Bridge Road to E. Spencer Field Road then N. Spencer Field Road. 

  • S. Spencer Field Road – closed to through traffic just west of E. Spencer Field Road. Direct access to local residents in this area will be via W. Spencer Field Road. 

  • S. Carlyn Drive – closed to through traffic just east of E. Spencer Field Road. Direct access to local resident in this area will be via N. Carlyn Drive.
