[ARCHIVED] Some roads experiencing flooding in north Santa Rosa

The following roads are experiencing known flooding issues due to the recent heavy rains:

Walling Road in Jay is open with hazards due to water over the bridge and over the road north of the bridge.
Hwy. 87 N. at Coldwater Church Road due to water flowing off of Coldwater Church Road. Drive carefully near this intersection, which is north of Whiting Field in Milton.

Additional rounds of heavy rain are expected tonight into Wednesday according to the National Weather Service Mobile Office. The ground is already very saturated, as some areas in the flash flood watch area have received six to 12 inches of rain in the past few days. Additional heavy rain will quickly cause flooding. Remember, turn around, don't drown!
