Navarre Beach has been included in the Reader's Digest article, "35 Best 4th of July Weekend Vacations," as the "Best for an under-the-radar gem." This comes just one year after being named one of the best beaches in the country (listed 12th out of 25 locations).

Here's what the Reader's Digest article had to say about Navarre Beach:

Located in Santa Rosa County, between Pensacola and Destin/Fort Walton Beach, Navarre Beach is one of Florida’s most undiscovered destinations and one of the best beaches in the country. Think: soft, pearl-white sand, emerald waves, and the ultimate in relaxation.

Don’t miss: The city’s Hometown 4th of July Parade & Celebration is a free event that will feature family-friendly fun, food, music, and a fireworks display launched from the Navarre Beach Fishing Pier. Highlights include barbecue and burgers from the food trucks during the “Picnic in the Park,” a parade, and a classic-rock cover band.
