East and South Spencer Field Road at Carlyn Drive intersection improvements

Intersection improvements will be taking place at East Spencer Field Rd., South Spencer Field Rd. and Carlyn Dr. over the next several months. The project includes converting the existing four-way stop into a red-light signalized intersection. Motorists should use caution when approaching the area and expect delays once construction begins.

Construction will include new red-light signalization, additional turn lanes, pedestrian facilities, drainage improvements, pavement milling and resurfacing, striping, signage and traffic control. Funded by the Local Option Sales Tax (LOST), the cost of construction is approximately $431,000 and is expected to be completed in January 2021.
