Hamilton Bridge Road at Pond Creek opening at 3:30 p.m.

Hamilton Bridge Road over Pond Creek will reopen at 3:30 p.m. today, Wed., Nov. 24 after being closed for bridge replacement and additional cross drain work related to the Pea Ridge Connector. 

"We are excited to be able to reopen Hamilton Bridge Road ahead of the new expected completion date of Dec. 1," said Commissioner Sam Parker, District 1. "This road helps connect communities and staff worked tirelessly to finish this project as quickly as possible to get it back open before the Thanksgiving holiday."

Since the start of on-site work in July, the county's public works staff have put in 500 hours of labor to install the bridge, not including production of the pre-cast panels and other pre-site work.
