UF/IFAS Extension Santa Rosa County October Events



Learn about naturally occurring wildflowers along county roads and find out what kind of wildflowers can be grown in the area to attract butterflies and other pollinators. This topic is presented by Florida Master Gardener Suzanne Spencer. 

This program is free to attend without pre-registration and will be held in two locations:

  • Friday, Oct.12, 10 -11 a.m. at the Santa Rosa County Extension Office, 6263 Dogwood Drive in Milton
  • Friday, Oct. 19, 1 -2 p.m. at the Gulf Breeze Library, 1060 Shoreline Drive in Gulf Breeze

Learn about crops that grow well in your backyard during fall and winter such as broccoli, cabbage, greens and more on Thursday, Oct. 18 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Navarre Library, 8484 James Harvell Road in Navarre. This topic is presented by Florida Master Gardener Norene Gideon and is free to attend without pre-registration.
